Lumberjack The Monster (2023): Story
There is a strange but violent serial killer case. It looks like the killings were sparked by the picture book “Kaibutsu no Kikor.” The killer kills people by putting on the mask of the “Lumberjack Monster” and slicing their heads off with an ax.
The next person the serial killer wants to kill is the lawyer Ninomiya Akira. The lawyer is different because he doesn’t care about other people. He also has the traits of a psychopath because he is cold-hearted and has no feelings.
Besides the main suspect, Toshiro Ranko, the case also involves Hasumi Emi, Ninomiya Akira’s fiancée, Dr. Sugitani Kuro, and Kenmochi Takeshi, who was suspected of murder in the past. Like a game, the case needs to be solved by figuring out why the serial killer takes the brains of his victims and why the next person was picked. He has to work to figure out this puzzle in order to stay alive.
