EXID's Solji Shares Unexpected Chartered Plane Experience on 'Immortal Song'

In a special episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs’, EXID’s Solji revealed an interesting story behind her song ‘My Money, My Mountain Charter’.

During the show, Solji shared that during her time with EXID, she once flew on a chartered plane for a scheduled event in China. Surprisingly, she admitted, “I paid for the chartered plane with my own money.”

Initially, Solji thought that taking a chartered plane meant they had achieved great success. However, when she saw the statement of account, it simply stated that they had “rented” the plane. This realization left her with a bitter feeling.

Despite being born in 1989, Solji became the most senior member on that day’s episode of ‘Immortal Songs’. Jokingly, she expressed surprise at her seniority and humorously remarked that she might have hesitated to appear if she had known earlier.

Comedian Kim Jun-hyun playfully responded, saying, “Jung Hoon-hee was in the same spot last week.”

Currently working as a full-time professor in the Applied Music Vocal Department at Yongin College of Arts and Sciences, Solji admitted feeling burdened by her new role. She revealed that she hadn’t informed her students about her appearance on ‘Immortal Songs‘ and had even cancelled her class for the day. With a hopeful tone, she added, “If the results are good, I’ll let my students know.”
