The South Korean TV show A Good Day to Be a Dog (Korean: 오늘도 사랑스럽개) is based on “Lee Hey’s Naver” webtoon of the same name, which aired from 2017 to 2019. The show is directed by Kim Dae-woong and stars Park Gyu-young, Cha Eun-woo, and Lee Hyun-woo. The first episode aired on October 11, 2023 every Wednesday at 21:00 (KST), it airs on MBC TV. A Good Day to Be a Dog: Synopsis
Han Hae Na is a high school teacher who works alone and has a family secret. Because of something a relative did, Han Hae Na’s family has been cursed for many years. People in her family who kiss someone turn into dogs at midnight and stay that way for six hours. After that, they go back to looking like they normally do.
This change happens again and again every night until that person kisses the same person while looking like a dog. For possible romantic reasons, Han Hae Na tells men she meets not to kiss her. Manly guys usually leave her because of this.
One night, Han Hae Na kisses Jin Seo Won, a teacher at the same high school, by chance, even though they don’t know each other well. Soon, Han Hae Na starts to feel scared and keeps going up to Seo Won to kiss him again. But Jin Seo Won is scared of dogs.
