In December 1979, Seoul was going through a hard winter before spring. Since President Park was killed, martial law has been in effect. Leader of Defense Security Chun Doo Kwang and a small group of soldiers who follow him start a coup d’état. Capital Defense Commander Lee Tae Shin fights Chun Doo Kwang to stop him.

Lee Tae Shin is a stubborn soldier who thinks the military shouldn’t get involved in politics. While military leaders wait to make their choice and the Defense Minister is away, the conflict between the two gets worse. In the middle of all the chaos, the much-anticipated spring in Seoul goes in a strange way.
