The upcoming Japanese action magic adventure streaming TV show YuYu Hakusho (Japanese: 岽遊白書, Hepburn: YūYū Hakusho) was created by Akira Morii and Kazutaka Sakamoto for Netflix. The show is based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s novel series of the same name, which ran from 1990 to 1994. Starring Takumi Kitamura, Shuhei Uesugi, Jun Shison, and Kanata Hongō, it is made by Robot Communications. The first episode will air on December 14, 2023.

YuYu Hakusho (Netflix TV Series): Story
A lot of the time, Yusuke Urameshi (Takumi Kitamura) gets into fights. One day, he saves a child who is about to be hit by a car, but the car kills Yusuke Urameshi. After this death, he turns into a ghost and meets a spirit message. If a person does bad things during their life but then does a good thing at the end of their life, they will not go to Heaven or Hell. It shocks Yusuke Urameshi.
After that, he is offered a job as a detective for the spirit world. His actual job as a detective for the spirit world starts after he passes a few tests. He is put back into a human body and gets to work. He is in charge of stopping the bad things that devils do in this world.
