She was born on August 16, 1985, in Amarillo, Texas, to Korean-American parents and was raised in San Antonio and Plano, Texas.
Cho went to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to become a doctor, but he became interested in acting while he was there. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and finished in 2007.
