Actress Lim Soo-jung recently revealed that she finds it challenging to make friends quickly. In a video titled ‘Using coupons is not an excuse’ posted on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun‘, Lim Soo-jung, along with actors Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sang-i, made an appearance as guests. The trio discussed their movie ‘Single in Seoul’.
During the conversation, Lee Dong-wook shared that he had injured his forehead by falling on a cushion at his house. He jokingly mentioned that he might win the grand prize at the upcoming ‘Excuse Go‘ awards ceremony due to excessive voting. Lee Dong-wook also expressed his discomfort in using ‘Excuse Go’ as a promotional tool, referring to it as a hideout or a resting place that he occasionally visits.
Yoo Jae-seok, another guest on the show, shared an amusing incident about attending a VIP movie screening. Lee Dong-wook revealed his hesitation in contacting Yoo Jae-seok for the event, fearing that he might burden him unnecessarily. Yoo Jae-seok mentioned that he was pleased to see Lee Dong-wook after a long time and enjoyed the humorous atmosphere with other actors.
The VIP screening of the movie was attended by Lee Dong-wook’s parents, who interacted with the staff and requested an introduction to Yoo Jae-seok. Lim Soo-jung also mentioned that her parents came to the screening but left early due to tiredness.
Lee Dong-wook explained the logistics of VIP screenings, where multiple theaters show the movie simultaneously, causing delays in stage greetings. Lim Soo-jung, known for her lovely on-screen presence, addressed the misconception of being cold, stating that she doesn’t talk much. Lee Dong-wook clarified that Lim Soo-jung is not as haughty as people perceive her to be.
Lim Soo-jung admitted that she finds it challenging to quickly become friends with people. She explained that it takes a long time for her to establish a genuine friendship, lasting for 10 or 20 years. When asked how to become friends, Lim Soo-jung burst into laughter, while Yoo Jae-seok humorously pointed out that Lee Dong-wook and Lee Sang-i haven’t become friends yet.
Despite Lim Soo-jung’s statement about considering her co-stars as just coworkers, Lee Dong-wook expressed that they have become more comfortable and closer. Lim Soo-jung acknowledged the slow process of getting to know each other but also expressed her admiration for those who can quickly form friendships.
